In many projects I have been in, the migration of the Applications was one of the most important and complex tasks. We often encountered very old (legacy) applications, applications that had a hard time upgrading and old version, conflicting applications and more.
It was more than often required to write some uninstall scripts which killed specific running processes / programs and then uninstall the previous version(s) of the application(s). Sometimes we had a hard time finding the right program, because of bad written program code, corrupted installations, etc.
To ease up this process a bit, I made a short overview of often / common used applications and their respective ProductCode (GUID), Version and Language. This list can be used to create uninstall strings, scripts or just as an informative reference
